Hi, I’m Jayme
A creative, colorful, and detailed interior & exterior home designer who enjoys applying the principles of art and design to create inspiring, memorable, and unique living spaces for her clients.
Early on
I’ve always been drawn to beautiful spaces, art, and music. My whole world focuses on visual and sound experiences. From a young age I’ve enjoyed being creative and sharing my artistic gifts with others.
After receiving a visual communication arts degree at Liberty University, I pursued a diverse background in design – wedding/event design, wedding invitation, print design, classroom education in graphic design, floral design, and catering. These experiences have caused me to view home design differently. I apply what I know from art design principles and I believe it applies to interior and exterior spaces. My favorite part of my design process is hand drawing and painting custom mood boards for each client’s curated design vision.
Current
I started Jayme Jenkins Design in 2020 to bring a joyful and artistic flair to people’s homes. I’m not afraid to work with clients’ preferences or go outside of my design comfort zone. I will create what brings joy to my client so that they feel comforted and energized in their space.
I love the challenges and making homes look incredible because I believe there is a science to good design work. I want to unlock what preferences are truly inside each client and help them bring that out. Each client is unique and I enjoy creating a space that is specialized to their needs, their budget, and their design preferences. Although I am not tied to any particular style, I have a special love for Florida ranch homes, anything vintage, and modern coastal designs.
