Hi there. Welcome to the inaugural Journal post. Nice to meet you–I’m Jayme, the interior designer behind Jayme Jenkins Design.

To be honest, I wanted to start my online design journal back in 2020 when I first started Jayme Jenkins Design but dealing with all things Covid while also being a mother to three and beginning my interior design business from scratch left room for little else.

But the time is finally right, and here we are.

I’m based in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida, where I live in my remodeled ranch home (psst yes, designed by me) with my husband (my high school sweetheart), my three elementary-aged kids (two girls and a boy), my sweet pupper Zelda (a Cane Corso), and an anxiety-ridden hamster (my daughter’s birthday present).

Inspired by art, music, and beautiful landscapes, I use my background in graphic design to create interior and exterior spaces that make my clients so happy that they jump and clap with joy.
